CTSL has taken its roots and foundations from the plant hire and construction industry with its owner and lead Instructor Nigel Carr starting out in 1986 in groundworks then quickly moving to operating a wide range of plant across all the sectors, including large civils projects, utilities, demolition, and general plant hire.
In 2004 Nigel qualified as a CPCS Instructor with the aim of developing his skills to teach and test existing or novice operatives, and established a proven track record of training excellence and the ability to offer a wide range of subjects from plant short courses, to the SMSTS management course.

Since 2008 building an NPORS accredited on-site training provider 691 offering a wide range of high quality training with helpful advice and support to the growing network of clients across the UK. Providing a more recognisable certification to the construction, civils and utilities, and waste sectors.
On completion of each course, each trainee will receive a certificate or photo licence, in compliance to the relevant body they have been trained under.
